JOB DETAILS:
A reputable Commercial Bank in Zambia is seeking to recruit self-motivated, enthusiastic and innovative persons to fill the following position:
TREASURY SALES DEALER
Reporting to Country-Treasurer, s/he will perform the responsibility of: .

Job Responsibilities:
• To sell Forex and Fixed Income products to clients
• Work with the trading/dealing team and other internal clients in identifying new business opportunities for clients, and also keep them well-informed with information on the following:-Institutional and Corporate clients and products.
• To build relationships with key industry individuals and industry groups
• Provide quotes for clients.
• Raise deal slips for all transactions and maintain accurate records.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Country-Treasurer.

Job Skills:
• Knowledge and understanding of treasury products – SWAPS, Futures, Forwards, etc.
• Knowledge and understanding of treasury techniques –ALM techniques, VAR techniques, hedging, etc.
• Financial management skills
• Good Customer Service / Relationship Management
• Strong negotiation skills
• Financial Analysis / Interpretation capabilities
• Knowledge & understanding of money and financial markets
• Banking Operations (Domestic & International Operations)
• Treasury Management
• Liquidity/Cash flow Management
• Investment risk/ Return appraisal
• Portfolio management
• Knowledge of regulatory guidelines and policies
• Knowledge of trends in the financial services industry.

Job Qualifications:
• First degree in any relevant discipline.
• ACI certification
• Minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a Bank/Asset Management institution.
