A reputable organization headquartered in Ndola is seeking a Truck Driver to be based in Lusaka. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating company trucks in a safe, efficient, and timely manner, ensuring the transportation of goods is carried out according to company policies and road safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely operate and drive heavy-duty trucks for long and short-haul routes
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to assigned destinations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logbooks
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company transport guidelines
• Report any vehicle defects or operational issues promptly
• Ensure proper handling and secure loading/unloading of goods

Minimum Qualifications And Requirements

• Must possess a valid Class C or CE driver’s license
• At least 2 years of experience in truck driving, preferably in cross-city routes
• Clean driving record with no major traffic violations
• Physically fit and able to handle long hours of driving
• Strong sense of responsibility, safety, and professionalism
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
