Job Overview: We are seeking dynamic and results-drivenWorkshop Manager to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage daily operations of the workshop and after-sales service department.
- Ensure timely and high-quality servicing, diagnostics, and repairs of trucks and buses.
- Supervise a team of technicians, mechanics, and after-sales officers to achieve service efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Manage service scheduling, job card flow, and parts requisitions in coordination with the spares department.
- Handle escalated customer complaints and provide appropriate solutions promptly.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and increase after-sales revenue.
- Prepare and present regular performance reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, service protocols, and company policies.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in workshop or after-sales management, preferably in the commercial vehicle industry.
- Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics, mechanical systems, and service procedures.
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and workshop/job card systems.
- Familiarity with FAW, Sino, or Golden Dragon vehicles mechanical systems, diagnostics, and maintenance procedures is a distinct advantage.
- Self-motivated with a results-oriented approach.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver’s license.
