Summary of the Position;

We seek a forward-thinking administrative assistant at our Solwezi Offices. You will work in a rapidly expanding, dynamic industry and, through our projects, have an enduring positive impact on society.
The ideal candidate must be domiciled in Solwezi and should be comfortable splitting their hours between the office, on-site visits, and attending council meetings.

Administrative Assistant Requirements: – Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities;

  • Domiciled in Solwezi
  • Grade 12 Certificate or better
  • 1-2 years of experience in a construction company with experience of construction site visits, visits to the mines, and government offices, ie, council offices, will be strongly desired.
  • Experience/Certification in Occupational Health and Safety will be an added advantage.
  • Excellent time management skills to ensure project deadlines are met.
  • Possess strong organizational and site management skills to effectively coordinate office and site activities.
  • Profound ability to carry out safety analyses and stability and quality control.
  • Ability to effectively work with professionals from other fields, including subcontractors and clients.
  • Strong ability to plan and manage project resources and budgets.
  • Follow safety rules, guidelines, and standards for all projects.
  • Able to use Microsoft Word.
  • Able to use Excel.
  • Able to use Emails.
  • Able to perform on behalf of HR.
  • Able to work under minimal or no supervision.
  • Oversee and mentor staff and liaise with a variety of stakeholders
  • Monitor progress and compile reports on project status
  • Manage budget and purchase equipment/materials
  • Comply with guidelines and regulations, including permits, safety, etc, and deliver technical files and other technical documentation as required.
