JOB PURPOSE

The Assistant Estate Manager must be highly organized and have a keen eye for detail and be able to efficiently manage multiple tasks and ensure that the estate is well looked after.

The Required Skills for this Role Include:

  • Administrative Duties: Handle administrative tasks such as maintaining records, preparing reports, scheduling meetings.
  • Staff Management: Train, supervise and evaluate staff members within the estate
  • Property Maintenance: Monitor and oversee property maintenance activities.
  • Residents Relations: Serve as a point of contact for residents
  • Health and safety compliance: Assist in implementing and maintaining health and safety protocols
  • Property Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the estate to identify any maintenance repair needs, safety hazards, or violations of estate policies.
  • Operational Management: Oversee the day- to- day operations of the estate.
  • Financial Management: Monitor expenses, prepare financial reports and invoices.

The Required Qualifications are:

  • Degree in General Hospitality / House Keeping Management
  • Proven work experience
  • Knowledge of office management systems and procedures
  • MS Office and English proficiency
  • Outstanding organizational and time management skills
  • Proficient use of computer software for documentation,
  • Knowledge of Housekeeping management and operations

The Required Attributes Include:

  • Ability to multitask and prioritize daily workload
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Discretion and confidentiality
  • Honest and integrity
  • Great leadership and project management abilities.
  • Flexibility to work on various shifts including evenings, weekends and holidays.
