About the Role:

The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in running daily operations and deputizes in their absence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily store operations
  • Supervise and motivate staff
  • Manage stock control and minimize losses
  • Handle staff scheduling and performance
  • Ensure excellent customer service
  • Monitor cash handling and sales reconciliation
  • Maintain store hygiene and compliance

Requirements:

  • 2–3 years’ experience in a retail supervisory role
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Knowledge of POS systems & Microsoft Office
  • Strong understanding of merchandising & stock control
