CASHIERS
The Advertiser seeks to employ suitably qualified, competent, and customer-focused individuals to fill the position of Cashiers in a Bureau de Change and Tellers for Business Agency transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle foreign exchange and local currency transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Receive and process payments (cash and other accepted forms) in accordance with company procedures.
- Balance and reconcile cash floats at the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy.
- Provide very excellent customer service, assist clients with queries related to transactions.
- Record all transactions electronically and maintain accurate transactional records.
- Open and close tills/transaction points as required and follow opening/closing cash handling procedures.
- Adhere to internal controls, compliance and anti-money-laundering (AML) procedures, as well as company policies and guidelines.
- Report discrepancies, suspicious activities, or system errors to the supervisor promptly.
- Support general branch operations as directed by the Branch Manager or Supervisor.
Education, Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum of a Diploma in Finance or any Business-related field.
- Grade 12 Certificate with a minimum of four (4) credits, including Mathematics and English.
- Previous experience as a retail cashier or in a sales-related role will be an added advantage.
- Familiarity with electronic equipment such as cash registers and POS systems, with strong arithmetic skills.
- Basic computer knowledge.

- Honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
