Background
A new and growing establishment is seeking to recruit a highly skilled and experienced Chief (Chef) to join our team.
Qualifications or Requirements
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 3 years’ proven experience in both local and international cuisine
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, presentation, and kitchen management
- Two (2) traceable references
Added Advantages:
- Certificate in Food Preparation and Processing
- Diploma in Hospitality Management or a related field
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards
Responsibilities or Duties
- Planning and preparing high-quality meals
- Supervising kitchen staff and maintaining kitchen discipline
- Ensuring compliance with food safety regulations
- Managing stock and minimizing wastage
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen
