Job Purpose
To provide practical clinical teaching and supervision of nursing students in health facilities in accordance with NMCZ standards and the institutional curriculum.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach and demonstrate clinical nursing procedures.
- Supervise students during clinical placements.
- Assess student competencies and maintain clinical records.
- Collaborate with ward managers and tutors on student progress.
- Promote professional ethics and patient safety.
- Participate in curriculum implementation and evaluation.
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
- Registered Nurse with valid NMCZ licence.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing or equivalent qualification recognized by NMCZ.
- Minimum 3 years post-registration clinical experience.
- Experience in teaching/mentorship is an added advantage.
- Strong communication, supervisory, and interpersonal skills.
