About the Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Data & Admin Associate to join our growing tech startup. This is an entry-level position ideal for someone who is organised, eager to learn, and able to work accurately with data and customer queries.
You’ll assist with managing listings on the platform, verifying payments, and supporting customers through WhatsApp.
Key Responsibilities
1) Listing Management
- Verify and approve ad listings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance
- Verify and approve dealer accounts and listings
- Maintain high-quality standards across all listings
- Flag suspicious or non-compliant listings for review and escalation
2) Payment Processing
- Verify and capture EFT payments
- Maintain and reconcile payment records
- Identify and flag payment discrepancies for resolution
- Ensure all payment logs are accurate and up to date
3) Customer Support
- Respond to WhatsApp inquiries promptly and professionally
- Assist users with listing and payment-related questions
- Escalate issues when necessary and follow through until resolution
Minimum Requirements (Must-Have)
- Grade 12 Certificate (Required)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication skills (written and verbal)
- Basic computer skills and ability to work with admin systems
- Ability to multitask, prioritise, and meet deadlines
Preferred Qualifications
- A Diploma in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, ICT, Information Systems, Marketing, or any related field
- Basic knowledge of Excel or Google Sheets (filters, sorting, simple formulas)
- Experience using WhatsApp for professional communication (WhatsApp Business is an advantage)
- Previous admin or customer service experience is an advantage (not required)
