Job Description:
The Employee Relations & People Experience Specialist will manage employee relations, mediate disputes, and enhance the overall people experience within the organization. This role involves ensuring compliance with labor laws, negotiating contracts, and resolving employment-related issues effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mediate and facilitate resolutions for employee disputes using alternative dispute resolution techniques.
- Provide expertise in labor and employment law, including litigation support and knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and legal precedents.
- Negotiate employment contracts and agreements.
- Manage employee relations, addressing grievances and fostering a positive work environment.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve employee experience and engagement.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws and company policies.
Experience:
- Proven experience in mediation, facilitation, and alternative dispute resolution.
- Solid foundation in labor and employment law, including litigation experience and knowledge of relevant statutes, regulations, case law, and legal precedents related to labor relations and employment matters.
- Experience in contract negotiation.
- Background in employee relations management.
Qualifications:
- Minimum Degree in Human Resource Management (HRM) or a related field.
- Qualification in Law will be an added advantage.
