Job Summary:
The Estate Agent Officer Intern is responsible for supporting the sales and marketing team in daily operations. The role involves assisting with property management, marketing activities, and administrative support. Key responsibilities include preparing property listings, coordinating client viewings, maintaining records, and assisting in the execution of marketing campaigns. The intern will also provide client support, conduct basic market research, and ensure effective communication between clients and the company.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative and Office Support:
- Serve as a point of contact for clients, both in person and via telephone, handling inquiries with a high degree of professionalism and courtesy.
- Manage and organize physical and digital files, ensuring all client and property records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in the preparation of legal documents, contracts, and property agreements under the supervision of senior staff.
- Coordinate and schedule appointments for property viewings, and client meetings, maintaining a meticulous calendar.
Property Management and Marketing Assistance:
- Support the creation and updating of compelling property listings across various platforms, including writing detailed descriptions, selecting high-quality photographs, and preparing floor plans in conjunction with the marketing media agency.
- Assist in the execution of marketing campaigns, including social media management, email marketing, and the distribution of property brochures and promotional materials.
- Conduct preliminary market research to analyze property trends, comparable sales, and market pricing to support strategic decision-making.
Client and Viewing Support:
- Provide logistical support for property viewings and open houses, ensuring properties are appropriately prepared and secure.
- Liaise with clients to confirm viewing details and follow up on post-viewing feedback.
- Maintain a professional and knowledgeable demeanor during all client interactions.
Qualifications and Requirements
Education: A recent graduate of a degree program in Business, Real Estate, Marketing, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
Skills:
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and a willingness to learn industry-specific software.
- Strong organizational skills and an impeccable attention to detail.
A proactive and resourceful attitude, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Discretion and a high degree of professionalism when handling confidential client information.
Personal Attributes:
- A genuine interest in the real estate sector and a strong desire to learn.
- Punctual, reliable, and able to manage multiple tasks effectively.
- A professional appearance and demeanor.
