Background
Great North Road Group of Companies is seeking for creatives, skilled, organized, and results-driven individuals to join the team.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Plan, coordinate, and manage events including conferences, weddings, corporate functions, and social events
Conceptualize, design, and execute event décor in line with client requirements and brand standards
Liaise with clients to understand event needs, themes, budgets, and expectations
Coordinate with internal departments (kitchen, bar, housekeeping, maintenance, marketing) for seamless event delivery
Source, manage, and supervise décor materials, equipment, and service providers
Oversee event setup, execution, and breakdown
Ensure events are delivered on time, within budget, and to high quality standards
Maintain décor inventory and recommend repairs or replacements
Prepare event proposals, quotations, and post-event reports
Ensure compliance with health, safety, and company policies during events
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
Diploma or Certificate in Events Management, Hospitality, or related field
Proven experience in event coordination and décor (hospitality industry is an added advantage)
Strong creativity with attention to detail
Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Computer literacy (MS Word, Excel, are an added advantage)
