Role Overview
The Finance & Administration (Human Resources) Manager will lead and manage the Finance and HR functions of the business. The role will ensure sound financial stewardship, strong internal controls, compliant HR practices, and efficient administrative support across the organization.
He/she will work closely with all staff internally and engage externally with recruitment agencies, regulatory bodies, and audit firms.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end finance operations: reporting, budgeting, cash flow, AP/AR, and month-end close.
- Prepare monthly management accounts and performance reports for the General Manager and CEO.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, cost control, and financial planning support to management.
- Ensure statutory compliance (tax, statutory returns) and maintain robust financial controls.
- Coordinate external audits and liaise with audit firms; implement audit recommendations.
- Lead HR operations across the employee lifecycle: recruitment, onboarding, contracts, performance management, and exits.
- Manage recruitment processes and relationships with recruitment agencies.
- Support payroll administration and ensure accurate HR records, leave management, and policy compliance.
- Handle employee relations matters (disciplinary, grievances) professionally and confidentially.
- Provide general administration oversight (vendors, assets, office support) as needed.
Key Relationships
- Internal: All staff, department leads, General Manager, CEO
- External: Recruitment agencies, regulatory bodies, audit firms, banks, vendors
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, with a qualification in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3–5years’ experience managing both Finance and HR functions (any industry).
- Experience with audits, compliance, HR administration, recruitment, and payroll coordination.
- Strong IT skills and comfortable with accounting/HR systems.
- High integrity, strong communication skills, and ability to manage confidential information.
