Job Purpose
The Finance Officer will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, supporting financial reporting, and ensuring effective cash flow management in line with company policies and statutory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Process and manage financial transactions accurately and timely
- Prepare and review financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- Maintain proper accounting records and ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies
- Monitor cash flow and assist with financial forecasting
- Support management with financial analysis and reports for decision-making
- Assist in developing and implementing financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
Qualifications & Experience
- Grade 12 Certificate
- Diploma in Banking and Finance, Accounting, or a related field (added advantage)
- Minimum of two (2) years’ relevant work experience
Skills & Competencies
- Ability to work with minimal supervision
- High level of integrity, reliability, and commitment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
