We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Furniture Department Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the daily operations of our furniture production and sales unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring high-quality production standards, meeting customer demands, and managing a skilled team of carpenters and designers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily operations of furniture production and ensure quality control
  • Coordinate tasks among workshop staff and enforce safety standards
  • Ensure production targets, quality standards, and delivery deadlines are met.
  • Provide leadership and technical guidance to furniture staff.
  • Monitor inventory levels and coordinate procurement of materials.
  • Enforce safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.
  • Inspect finished products for quality control.
  • Collaborate with the sales and design teams for customized furniture projects.
  • Prepare and present departmental reports to management.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Full grade (12) certificate
  • Diploma/Degree in Production and Operations management, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in a furniture manufacturing or related industrial setting.
  • Strong knowledge of furniture design, production processes, and materials.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret technical drawings and ensure quality workmanship.
  • Problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to drive and possessing a valid driving license
