Reporting to the Board of Directors, the successful candidate will provide overall strategic leadership and oversee the effective management of operations, finance, and business growth.
Key Accountabilities:
- Oversee daily operations, including waste collection, transportation, recycling, and disposal
- Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations
- Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams to achieve operational efficiency
- Develop and implement business plans, budgets, and performance targets
- Manage stakeholder relationships including local authorities, regulators, and clients
- Drive revenue growth, cost control, and service excellence
- Prepare and present management and performance reports to the Board
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Management, Engineering, Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field
- A Master’s Degree (MBA, Environmental Management, or similar) will be an added advantage
- At least six (6) years post-qualification experience in a busy, fast-paced environment, with a minimum of three (3) years at senior management level
- Demonstrated experience in solid waste management, utilities, logistics, environmental services, or municipal services is highly desirable

- Strong leadership, people management, and decision-making skills
- Sound financial and operational management expertise
- Excellent strategic planning and problem-solving abilities
- Strong understanding of environmental and regulatory frameworks
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- High level of integrity, accountability, and professionalism
