Company Overview

Kawambwa Sugar Limited is seeking a hands-on and experienced HR professional to oversee HR operations, ensure compliance with labor and immigration regulations, and support HR initiatives that enhance workforce productivity and engagement. The role involves coordinating day-to-day HR processes while supporting the development and smooth implementation of HR policies and practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and the full employee lifecycle.
  • Administer payroll inputs, benefits, leave, and maintain accurate HR records.
  • Handle employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary processes, and conflict resolution.
  • Coordinate work permits, visas, and expatriate compliance with relevant authorities.
  • Support HR policies and procedures, assisting in their refinement and practical application across the organization.
  • Assist in workforce planning, training, and staff development initiatives.
  • Monitor contractor compliance and support labor supply management processes.

Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years’ HR experience, including exposure to compliance, labor law, and immigration processes.
  • Practical knowledge of Zambian Labor Laws and Immigration regulations.
  • Strong administrative, analytical, and stakeholder coordination skills.
  • Integrity, discretion, and ability to operate independently.
  • Valid ZIHRM practicing certificate
