Job Purpose:

To support the organization’s strategic objectives by overseeing talent acquisition and performance management processes, ensuring the organization attracts, develops, and retains high-quality talent while promoting a performance-driven and engaged workforce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee recruitment and talent acquisition, including identifying staffing gaps, coordinating job postings, screening candidates, supporting interviews, and onboarding.
  • Partner with line managers to understand workforce needs and provide guidance on hiring decisions.
  • Manage and track performance management processes, including KPI setting, appraisals, performance reviews, and monitoring PIPs.
  • Identify performance gaps, analyze trends, and recommend interventions such as coaching, training, or development programs.
  • Support talent development initiatives, succession planning, and high-potential employee programs.
  • Support employee engagement and recognition initiatives to strengthen organizational culture and retention.
  • Prepare and analyze recruitment, performance, and talent reports for management decision-making.
  • Provide HR advisory support to managers on talent acquisition, performance management, and policy matters.
  • Oversee HR administrative tasks related to recruitment and performance processes as needed.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in talent acquisition and performance management.
  • Knowledge of performance management frameworks, talent development, and recruitment practices.
  • Knowledge of Zambian labour laws and HR best practices.
  • Paid membership of ZIHRM.

  • Strong analytical, leadership, and coordination skills.
  • Ability to influence and partner effectively with managers at all levels.
  • Excellent reporting, presentation, and communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.
  • Proactive and able to balance HR responsibilities.
