Position Description
FRANSALIAN EDUCATION MISSION, a reputed institute of the catholic Church seeks to recruit a ICT Teacher to be based COLIN B GLASSCO PRIMARY SCHOOL in 9 miles, in Lusaka.
Responsibilities:
- To plan, teach and guide primary school pupils ICT.
- Prepare schemes of work and weekly forecasts.
- To take care of the ICT Lab.
- To keep an accurate inventory of the computer equipments and ensure it is neatly stored.
- Conduct assessment of pupils.
- To provide pupils with an opportunity to develop and improve their computer and technology skills
- Play an active role in the school’s Extra-curricular activities.
- Interact with various teachers to prepare and organise interdisciplinary lessons.
- Work with school administrators to implement school procedures regarding ICT.
- To organise inter school events.
- Teach pupils using INTERACTIVE BOARD, PROJECTORS, etc.
- Teach pupils Corel draw, Photo Shop, InDesign, Coding using computer language.
- Should be able to teach simple tools of audio and video editing.
Requirements:
- Full Grade 12 Certificate.
- Registered with the TCZ with a valid practicing license.
- Computer literate.
- Minimum of Diploma in PICT.
Reporting
The ICT teacher will report to the Headteacher.

Experience in Months: 12
Level of Education: associate degree
