Barloworld Equipment provides total solutions in earthmoving equipment, materials handling and power systems and related equipment in 10 countries in Southern Africa. As the appointed Caterpillar dealer in the region, Barloworld Equipment supplies equipment, parts and service to customers in the mining, construction, handling, agricultural and energy industries.
Barloworld Equipment Zambia Limited is looking for a suitably qualified individual to fill the positions below:
INTERNAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE - KITWE
Applicants suitably qualified based on the requirements stated below are invited to apply for the positions.
Job Purpose:
The successful candidates will manage the following tasks: To drive revenue by selling products and services remotely through phone, email, and online channels, focusing on lead generation, customer relationship building, and closing deals from an office or remote setting
Key Outputs include but are not limited to:
- Proactively contact retail customers by telephone, email and other channels to generate revenue by selling campaigns.
- Handle inbound, unsolicited prospects calls and convert them into sales.
- Lead identification, qualification and closure.
- Drive Construction (CI) Sales Execution discipline: Sales Funnel Management
- On-boarding of retail customers to digital platforms e.g., PCC
- Utilise systems (OLGA, Salesforce, SAP etc.) and processes to improve after-sales performance.
- Maintaining customer data and developing good relationships with other areas of the business
- Management of PSE opportunities and ensure they are actioned and updated timeously.
- Effective relationships, people and teamwork.
- Effective self-management and performance ownership.
- Achieve or exceed daily, weekly, monthly sales target.
- Understand full range of Barloworld’s product offerings and promote dealership services including parts, services, merchandising programs and digital solutions.
Minimum Requirements
- Full Grade 12
- Degree in Sales / Marketing / Production Management, or equivalent from a recognized university
- Not less than 2 years exposure to the mining/construction industry
- Mechanical interest or experience would be an added advantage
- Demonstrative success in Tele sales, prospecting and developing new business opportunities
- Technical Customer Service or Sales experience
- Experience in conflict resolution and resolving customer queries
- Previous functional area experiences advantageous (machine sales, parts sales, service, power etc.)
- Advanced MS Office skills and experience with CRM and ERP systems
- Should be a member of the Zambia Institute of Marketing
- Have own accommodation in area of operation.
