About the role:
The client is seeking a Junior Procurement Executive to support the end-to-end buying process, focusing on sourcing, negotiating, ordering, and managing suppliers to ensure cost-effective, timely acquisition of goods/services, handling RFQs, POs, delivery coordination, invoice verification, and maintaining documentation and supplier relationships, aligning with company policies and seeking best value.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services
- Support supplier onboarding, communication, and performance monitoring
- Prepare and process purchase orders in line with company procedures
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment to avoid shortages or overstocking
- Track delivery schedules and follow up on late or incomplete orders
- Assist with cost analysis, pricing comparisons, and supplier evaluations
- Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and documentation
- Work closely with warehouse, finance, and retail teams to ensure smooth operations
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Procurement, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field
- 1–2 years’ experience in procurement, buying, or supply chain (retail experience an advantage)
- Strong negotiation and communication skills
- Good analytical and organisational abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and procurement systems
Compensation:
The incumbent will receive a competitive salary commensurate with experience.
