THE ANTI-CORRUPTION COMMISSION WHOSE MISSION IS TO “PREVENT, INVESTIGATE, PROSECUTE CORRUPTION AND EDUCATE THE PUBLIC IN ORDER TO SAFEGUARD PUBLIC RESOURCES AND PROMOTE FAIRNESS IN SERVICE DELIVERY” INVITES APPLICATIONS FROM SUITABLY QUALIFIED CANDIDATES FOR THE FOLLOWING POSITIONS:

1.0 SENIOR INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS TECHNOLOGY OFFICER – APPLICATIONS (LUSAKA) – (1 POSITION)

(a) Job Purpose

To supervise and undertake the provision of ICT support for software and applications for the Commission in order to facilitate seamless user access to ICT and e-services.

(b) Principal Accountabilities

  • To supervise and undertake effectively the design and development of software applications, ensuring adherence to best practices and architectural guidelines;
  • To supervise and undertake effectively writing high-quality, efficient, and scalable code using appropriate programming languages and frameworks ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and maintainable code practices;
  • To supervise and undertake effectively the design and implementation of integration strategies for seamless data flow between applications and systems;
  • To supervise and undertake effectively the creation and maintainance of technical documentation, including system architecture, design specifications, and user manuals and ensuring that documentation accurately reflects the application design and functionality;
  • To supervise and undertake effectively the provision of technical insights and recommendations during project planning and execution while collaborating with stakeholders to define proiect scope. timelines, and milestones:
  • To supervise and undertake effectively provision of on-site and phone-based technical support services to the headquarters and regional offices;
  • To supervise and undertake other incidental tasks consistent with software application development objectives of the Commission;
  • To supervise effectively the implementation of performance management systems in order to monitor, evaluate and enhance performance.

(c) Qualifications

  • Full Form V/Grade 12 Certificate;
  • BSc in Computer Science; Degree in Information Communication and Technology or relevant;
  • Member of the Information and Communication Technology Association of Zambia; Three (3) years relevant pre-job experience.
  • Applicants must be aged between 30 and 40 years old.

(d) Communication Skills:

  • Ability to write technical and analytical reports;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

(e) Other Skills/Attributes:

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices,
  • Continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), Automation tools, and version control systems such as Git. Extensive programming skills,

2.0 LEGAL & PROSECUTIONS OFFICER (LUSAKA) – (4 POSITIONS)

(a) Job Purpose

To undertake the provision of legal services and prosecution of corruption cases in order to facilitate dispensation of justice and ensure that the Commission operates within the Law.

(b) Principal Accountabilities

  • To undertake effectively legal representation for the Commission in order to safeguard its interests;
  • To undertake effectively provision of legal advice/opinion in order to ensure that the operations of the Commission are within the Law;
  • To undertake effectively prosecution of corruption and related cases in order to facilitate dispensation of justice;
  • To undertake effectively the drafting and review of legal documents in order to safeguard the interests of the Commission;
  • To undertake effectively preparation of lease agreements, contracts and assignment deeds in order to secure properties of the Commission;
  • To undertake effectively provision of secretariat services to the Legal Level Technical Committee of the National Anti-Corruption Policy in order to facilitate smooth conduct of meetings;

(c) Qualifications

  • Full Form V/Grade 12 Certificate; Bachelor of Laws (LLB);
  • Member of Law Association of Zambia; Advocate of the High Court of Zambia;
  • Applicants must be aged between 25 and 35 years old.

(d) Communication Skills:

  • Ability to write technical and analytical reports;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

3.0 ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT (LUSAKA) – (1 POSITION)

(a) Job Purpose

To undertake accounting support services in order to facilitate financial reporting.

(b) Principal Accountabilities

  • To undertake effectively preparation of receipts for all payments made to the Commission in order to ensure capture of revenue;
  • To undertake timely the banking of all receipted revenue in order to ensure safe custody of funds and accountability;
  • To undertake effectively the administration of Petty Cash in order to ensure reimbursement and prompt settlement of minor payments;
  • To undertake effectively asset verification in order to facilitate accountability;
  • To undertake timely parking of documents in the financial management system in order to facilitate payment processing;

(c) Qualifications

  • Full Form V/ Grade 12 Certificate
  • Diploma in Accountancy or equivalent;
  • Valid Membership to Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA);
  • Applicants must be aged between 25 and 35 years old.

(d) Communication Skills:

  • Ability to write reports;
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English.

  • To undertake regularly the cleaning of offices and surroundings in order to make them habitable;
  • To undertake effectively the cleaning of eating and drinking utensils in order to make them hygienic for use;
  • Undertakes effectively the cleaning of toilets and common areas in order to maintain a conducive work environment;
  • To undertake promptly official errands in order to ensure smooth operations,

(c) Qualifications

  • Full Form V/Grade 12 Certificate.
  • Job experience in cleaning inside and surroundings of two (2) or more years in a reputable organization.
  • Applicants must be aged between 25 and 35 years old.

(d) Communication Skills:

  • Ability to write reports;
