Job Purpose
The Operations and Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating and managing all aspects of logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and transportation. Ensuring products are procured, loaded, cleared and delivered efficiently and effectively while maintaining optimal security stock levels based on the business’ sales cycle. Ensure efficiency at loading ports and clearance at the border points. Provide administrative support to project teams, assisting in the organization and documentation of project-related activities of day-to-day operational activities.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage all aspects of logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and transportation
- Direct and manage all aspects of logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment
- Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance logistics efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels
- Collaborate with vendors and third-party logistics providers to negotiate contracts, ensure compliance, and optimize service levels and costs
- Ensure timely and accurate delivery of products to customers
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure adequate stock levels
- Manage and maintain relationships with carriers and suppliers
- Undertake the necessary due diligence and contract transporters who are compliant with the statutory and organization’s HSSEQ policy. Conduct in service fleet inspections and ensure any noncompliance is picked and corrective measures are taken promptly.
- Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure operational efficiency
- Develop and implement logistics strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Regularly undertake route risk assessment and risk mapping. Ensure risk mitigation measures are discussed with transporters and adopted.
- Manager the company’s Customer Service function, ensuring high standards of service delivery and customer satisfaction through effective and efficient management of orders
- Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Representing the company in industry engagements such as ERB, MOE, the Zambia Bureau of Standards (ZABS) and any other statutory body as maybe required from time to time.
- Evaluate vendor performance and take corrective actions as needed to maintain high standards
- Develop and manage the logistics budget, monitoring expenses, analyzing variances, and implementing cost-saving initiatives
- Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation within the logistics operations to increase efficiency and accuracy
- Implement best practices and industry standards to continuously improve logistics processes and procedures

Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or any Business field
- Must have a minimum of 6+ years’ experience operations and logistics
- Proven experience working in the Oil Industry will have an added advantage.
- Proven experience as a Logistics Operations Manager or in a similar managerial role within the logistics or supply chain industry
- Strong knowledge of logistics processes, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and distribution
- Excellent leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Proficiency in using logistics and inventory management software and tools
- A certification in HSSEQ will be a plus
- Strong analytical skills are required.
- Must be a member of ZCILT or any relevant professional body
Summary of Key Responsibilities: Develop, plan, and execute the organization’s financial strategy Organize, manage, and supervise department operations and activities to ensure best practices are followed and they are in compliance with regulatory requirements Serve as a subject matter expert for all matters related to financial and accounting activities Act as the designated CFO for Bank of Zambia purposes. Maintain oversight of all financial reporting, internal controls, and audits. Prepare and submit financial statements, regulatory returns, and reports to the Bank of Zambia and the parent company. Establish and maintain efficient accounting and reporting systems and procedures Lead the funding and liquidity management process Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes aligned with both local and group strategic goals. Ensure compliance with local GAAP, IFRS, and regulatory frameworks. Oversee tax compliance, including local regulations, international tax treaties, and transfer pricing considerations. Organize and manage statutory tax reporting for indirect and direct taxation Identify and record all transactions undertaken by the organization Prepare accounts and verify the reliability and relevance of market prices and fair values used when reporting Provide accurate and complete financial information to decision makers and other business units as needed Review and analyze expenses, revenue, and losses to identify opportunities and improve performance Manage currency risk and mitigate exposure to exchange rate fluctuations. Support fundraising efforts, investor reporting, and financial modeling. A Masters in Finance or Accounting will be a plus Must have a minimum of 7+ years in a senior financial leadership role with a Fintech, Banking, Mobile Money, E-Money company Must have a minimum of 4+ years’ experience in a regulated financial services environment preferred Must have experience with Bank of Zambia reporting procedures Experience with forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting Experience working at a subsidiary level within a group structure, reporting to a parent company, is an advantage. Strong knowledge of Zambian financial regulations, accounting standards, and local tax laws. Familiarity with international finance practices, IFRS reporting, and transfer pricing rules. Ability to manage currency risks and understand the local market environment. Must be young and vibrant Cross-cultural adaptability and sensitivity Must be comfortable working in a startup environment: hands-on, flexible, and proactive Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite Must be a member of ZICA
