JM Supply is a 2,500 sqm premium building materials and interior solutions center located in the heart of Ndola, Zambia. The company serves both retail customers and medium-to-large-scale construction and interior projects.
Our group also owns Savoy Hotel, a five-star standard hospitality development. We are entering a new phase of operational restructuring and system upgrading.
Position Overview
We are seeking a bilingual (Chinese–English) Operations Director to lead and structure our retail and project supply operations. This is a senior leadership role reporting directly to the Owner.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead daily operations across a 2-floor, 2,500 sqm retail center
- Build SOP systems, KPIs, and reporting structures
- Strengthen middle management accountability
- Improve profitability and cost control
- Develop structured retail and project sales processes
- Act as communication bridge between Chinese ownership and local team
Requirements
- Fluent in both Chinese and English (mandatory)
- Minimum 8 years of management experience
- Experience managing teams of 20+ staff
- Strong organizational and operational structuring ability
- Mature, disciplined, and results-oriented
- Experience in Africa or emerging markets preferred
- A Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management.
