Job Purpose
To provide academic and administrative leadership in the nursing training and ensure delivery of high-quality nursing education in line with the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Zambia (NMCZ) standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and management of the nursing programme.
- Coordinate curriculum implementation, assessment, and evaluation.
- Supervise nurse tutors and clinical instructors.
- Ensure compliance with NMCZ regulations and training standards.
- Oversee student admissions, progression, and examinations.
- Promote research, professional development, and quality improvement.
- Liaise with clinical sites and stakeholders.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Registered Nurse with a valid NMCZ practising licence.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing/Midwifery; Master’s degree in Nursing education is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years clinical experience and 3 years teaching/administrative experience.
- Proven leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of NMCZ education and training standards.
