Role Summary
The Procurement Intern will support the procurement team in sourcing goods and services, maintaining supplier records, and ensuring procurement processes are followed. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in purchasing and supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing purchase requisitions and purchase orders
- Assisting sourcing of quotations (RFQs)
- verify all incoming materials according to SOPs
- Inspect deliveries for damages or discrepancies
- maintain receipts, records and withdrawals of materials.
- issue and receive materials from or into warehouse.
- Help track deliveries and follow up with suppliers
- Comply with company procurement and inventory management policies
- Conduct regular stock counts
- Perform general administrative duties in the procurement department
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Degree student in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field
- Basic knowledge of procurement processes is an added advantage
- Computer literate (MS Word, Excel)
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Willingness to learn and work as a part of a team

- Time management and multitasking ability
- Professional attitude and integrity
- Basic analytical skills
