We are currently seeking a skilled and dynamic Quality Control Officer to join our team. This role is crucial to our mission of delivering tailored facultative reinsurance solutions across various lines of business.

Position Overview

The Quality Control Officer will be responsible for accurately booking business, issuing debit notes on time, coordinating effective renewals, and properly managing audit documentation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Business Booking & Data Quality

  • Book all approved Facultative and Treaty business in the system accurately and within agreed timelines.
  • Perform quality assurance checks on all entries to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain organised and up-to-date underwriting and booking records
  • Maintain and update the revenue pipeline tracker.

2. Debit Note Preparation & Dispatch

  • Prepare debit notes for all booked business.
  • Validate the accuracy of information before issuance.
  • Ensure timely dispatch of debit notes to brokers and cedants

3. Renewal Coordination

  • Track and manage renewal schedules across all lines of business.
  • Request renewal documents and information proactively.
  • Support underwriters in preparing renewal summaries and follow-ups.

4. Audit Documentation Support

  • Obtain all required audit documents as requested.
  • Maintain structured audit files for easy retrieval and compliance.
  • Liaise with the Audit and Finance teams through the Manager where documentation clarifications are required

5. Operational Support & Quality Assurance

  • Support departmental data clean-up and data quality improvement initiatives.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports, summaries, and administrative follow-ups.
  • Conduct basic checks on incoming submissions for completeness.
  • Perform pre-risk assessment screening to ensure documents and key data meet minimum standards before underwriting review.

Qualifications

Education: Diploma in Insurance, Economics, or Business Administration

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in underwriting support, operations, or administrative roles.
