  ZAMBIA NATIONAL FARMERS UNION
The Zambia National Farmers’ Union (ZNFU) is looking for an outstanding, results oriented and highly motivated individual to fill the position of Relief Accounting Officer.
The mission of the ZNFU is to promote and safeguard the interests of members as individual farmers, corporations/companies, purveyors and other organizations involved in the business of agriculture and related activities in order to achieve sustainable agricultural, economic and social development.
RELIEF ACCOUNTING OFFICER – LUSAKA.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Reporting to the Finance Manager, the successful candidate will be the Relief
Accounting Officer and will be responsible for:
• Posting accounting transactions onto the ledger using the Pastel accounting package;
• Timely preparation and submission of statutory returns, i.e. NAPSA, WHT, PAYE and VAT;
• Receipting of membership subscriptions and other revenue;
• Raising of members and customer invoices;
• Making follow-ups on unpaid invoices;
• Performing bank reconciliations using the Pastel package;
• Assist in the reconciliation of creditors and debtors accounts;
• Provide support to the audit of financial statement;
• Perform any other duties as assigned by the Finance Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS AND ATTRIBUTES
• Diploma or ZICA licentiate level or equivalent.
• Minimum of two (2) years’ experience.
• Good inter person and communication skills.
