Background
The Zambia Postal Services Corporation (ZAMPOST), a Statutory Body established under the Postal Services Act No. 22 of 1994, is undergoing a transformation process aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service delivery. The Corporation invites applications from suitably qualified and experienced individuals to fill the position of Risk & Compliance Officer.
Purpose of Role
To support the implementation of the Corporation’s risk management and compliance framework by identifying, assessing, monitoring, and reporting risks, ensuring compliance with laws, regulations, and internal policies, and promoting a strong culture of risk awareness and operational integrity.

- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and risk/compliance management tools.
- Identify, assess, and monitor operational, financial, strategic, and compliance risks.
- Maintain and update the Corporate Risk Register and monitor risk mitigation measures.
- Monitor compliance with statutory, regulatory, and internal policy requirements.
- Conduct compliance checks and report non-compliance issues.
- Assist in developing and reviewing risk management and compliance policies.
- Prepare periodic risk and compliance reports and maintain accurate records.
- Liaise with departments to support risk mitigation and compliance initiatives.
- Promote risk awareness and assist in training staff on risk and compliance matters.
- Collaborate with internal audit and other functions to strengthen internal controls.
- Participate in investigations of risk incidents and track corrective actions.
- Knowledge of enterprise risk management and compliance frameworks.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and risk/compliance management tools.
- Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Accounting, Finance, Law, Business Administration, or related field.
- Progress toward or membership in professional bodies such as ZICA, ACCA, CIMA, CIA, CRMA, or equivalent is an advantage.
