The Supervisor Sales will responsible for driving sales growth by identifying new business opportunities, managing key accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction. The role involves developing sales strategies, negotiating contracts, and managing sales teams to achieve revenue targets. Supervise the performance and maintenance of the activities of the Sales Team.
Summary of Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies to maximize passenger bookings and revenue generation.
- Identify and establish relationships with key commercial clients, travel agencies, and corporate partners.
- Use sales forecasting and strategic planning to optimize sales performance and profitability.
- Negotiate contracts with travel agencies, corporate accounts, and General Sales Agents (GSAs).
- Monitor and follow up on the airline’s sales force activities, ensuring targets are met.
- Resolve customer complaints and service issues to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Train and oversee the performance of the sales team, ensuring high levels of productivity.
- Evaluate and recommend the division of sales territories and necessary staffing adjustments.
- Ensure the consistent implementation of airline safety and security policies in all sales activities.
- Represent the Airline at business forums and industry-related networking events.
- Lead the sales team and ensure clear communication and expectations.
- Develop innovative sales strategies to increase numbers and profits.
- Analyze sales data to improve performance and operations.
- Respond to customer inquiries in an effective manner.
- Organize customer events to strengthen relationships.
- Develop and execute campaigns to promote products and services

Primary Areas of Accountability:
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
- Must have a minimum of 7+ years of experience in airline or hospitality sales with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Travel agency sales experience in the same or senior capacity will be an added advantage
- Proven airline or hospitality previous sales and management experience.
- Good knowledge of customer relations best practices.
- Must have Airline & Aviation Specific Certifications – (IATA Airline Sales and Revenue Management Certification, Airline Business Foundations Certificate, IATA Passenger Marketing and Sales Certification, IATA Billing and Settlement Plan)
- Customer Relationship and CRM Certifications will be a plus
- Must be a member of ZIM
